UPDATE: According tot he Marlette Police Department, the suspect has been located.
ORIGINAL STORY:
The Michigan State Police is investigating a hit and run accident involving a car and an Amish buggy near Marlette yesterday. Police say the incident happened Monday afternoon around 2:30pm on Marlette Road just east of Boyne Road in Marlette Township. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a red Ford Fusion with damage to the front passenger side.
