A local real estate and insurance company is moving forward with their plan to construct a mixed use building in Downtown Port Huron. Sheridan Real Estate will be asking the Port Huron Planning Commission to approve a plan for a new two story building at 805 Pine Grove Avenue, at the northwest corner of the intersection with Glenwood. Sheridan plans to put office space on the first floor of the building and have five apartments on the second floor. The new building is being designed by William Vogan Architects of Port Huron and will be a total of 52-hundred square feet. The Port Huron Planning Commission will also consider a request by Noel Suarez for an addition to a building at 3519 Military Street near Buena Vista. The Port Huron Planning Commission meets at 6pm Tuesday at the city’s Municipal Office Center.
