Port Huron man arrested on drug charges

One is in custody following an investigation into the sale of heroin and cocaine in the Port Huron area. According to the St. Clair County Drug Task Force, members investigating drug sales made a traffic stop Tuesday night that lead to the arrest of a 44 year old Port Huron man. It happened around 8:30pm Tuesday at the intersection 9th and Pine Streets in Port Huron. The suspect was found to have heroin and cocaine in his vehicle. Heroin with a street value of approximately $3,000 and about $500 worth of cocaine was seized by authorities with the man taken into custody. He will face charges including possession with intent to deliver both cocaine and heroin, maintaining a drug house and being a habitual offender and is lodged at the St. Clair County Jail.
