High school student arrested for making threats

A Port Huron Northern high school student is in custody after making threats against students at his school. Yesterday morning, the Port Huron Northern School Resource Officer investigated a threat of a shooting made by a 17 year old student. Multiple students informed the officer of the threats and the Port Huron Police began an investigation. Authorities searched the student’s house where weapons were found but were secured safely. The suspect was taken into custody and is currently housed in the St. Clair County Jail pending arraignment for a threat of terrorism.
