Two are in custody in connection to an attempted breaking and entering at a Lexington area medical marijuana center this weekend. According to the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Department, the individuals are believed to have broken in to the Blue Water Compassion Medical Center in the 6600 block of Lakeshore Road in Worth Township around 3:30am Saturday morning. A security guard on duty was able to apprehend two of the individuals, with a a third fleeing the scene. The two men are identified as a 20 and 25 year old from Port Huron. Sheriff’s officials believe the suspects were offered cash in exchange for breaking in to the facility and stealing marijuana. The two suspects are currently held in the Sanilac County Jail and charges are pending.
