The blew it, then they won it!  In a wild ending to the game, the Detroit Lions pulled out a 39-35 win over the Colts in Indianapolis on Sunday to open the NFL season.  After blowing 21-3, and 28-18 leads, Detroit struck midway through the fourth quarter on Theo Riddick’s second touchdown of the game to take a 34-28 led.  Matt Prater missed the extra point, and the Colts took advantage when Andrew Luck fired a six yard touchdown pass to Jack Doyle with 37 seconds left in the game, putting Indy up 35-34.  Prater made up for the missed extra point, by drilling a 43 yard field goal with four seconds left, putting the Lions back up 37-35.  The game ended with a safety, as the Colts made an illegal lateral in their own end zone, trying to return the final kickoff.  Matt Stafford passed for 340 yards and three touchdowns, while Andrew Luck finished with 380 yards and four touchdowns.  The Lions (1-0) host Tennessee next Sunday at Ford Field.
