Campbell Makes NHL Debut

Goalie Jack Campbell became the second player from Port Huron to play in the NHL, making his debut for the Dallas Stars on Sunday night.  The Stars lost to the Anahiem Ducks 6-3, but Campbell stopped 41 of the 47 shots he faced.  Campbell was the Stars first pick in 2010 and the 11th player taken in the NHL draft that year.  He and forward Mike McDougall are the only Port Huron natives to play in the NHL.  McDougall made his debut during the 1978-79 season with the New York Rangers and played a total of 61 NHL games from 1978 to 1983 with the Rangers and Hartford Whalers.
