Two separate 30 vehicle pile-ups happened Thursday, along the 402 Highway just east of Sarnia. One fatality was reported in the mess that included several semi-trucks. Workers were still clearing up the mess Friday morning. A similar mishap happened north of Toronto too, when about a hundred cars and trucks became tangled near Barrie. The 402 collisions occurred, on both East and Westbound lanes, about 16 miles from the border, One was near Oil Heritage Road...the other near Mandaumin. The Ontario Provincial Police blame say snow squalls the cause.
