WIRES DOWN CAUSE FOR PORT HURON POWER OUTAGE

Looks like it was a downed power line Monday morning that left about 18-hundred residents on the south end of Port Huron and into Marysville without power.  The Port Huron Fire Department says the power line went down along 28th Street near Sturges, with DTE crews responding to fix the line.  DTE officials say it happened about 8:50am.  The loss of power saw the St. Clair County Health Department shutting its doors for the day, with students at Cleveland Elementary dismissed early from classes....both are back open Tuesday.
