The Port Huron Fighting Falcons were down 4-0 just 8:33 into their game on Saturday night, but rallied to beat the Springfield Jr. Blues 6-5 in shootout. Down 5-2 with less than 8 minutes to go in the third the Falcons scored three straight goals to force overtime. Matt Jones and Logan Lambin scored 14 seconds apart late in the game. Jones with 1:10 to play cut the scored to 5-4, before Lambdin tied the scored with 56 seconds to go. Lambdin had two goals and an assist, while Jones, Bryan Yim, and Jonathan Kopacka each had a goal and an assist. Nick LeSage added three assists. The shootout lasted eleven rounds with Port Huron winning 3-2. Noah Batis, the 22nd shooter netted the winning goal. The teams rematch at McMorran Arena on Sunday afternoon.
