We know that Mother Nature can throw anything our way, so what happens to your business when severe weather attacks, or the electricity goes out and your hard drive has a meltdown?  That'll be the focus for a seminar this month, hosted by the Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce and Nerds on Site.  Chamber President, Vickie Fournier, says with the right amount of preparedness you don't have to let Mother Nature wreak havoc on your business or your files and folders. The seminar on the 25th is called Breakfast Bytes with the Nerds and is from 7:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the chamber office. Fournier says, it'll define why 40-percent of businesses close without a proper disaster recovery plan, as well as the risks every business has regarding important data.  It's free to members and $10-dollars for non-member businesses.  Call 985-7101 for info.
