CITY COUNCIL LOOKS AT ELECTIONS, STREETSCAPES

Odd years or even years, for Port Huron city elections?  There's both good and not-so good for both answers, with the item taken up Monday night by the Port Huron City Council.  A public hearing on the matter has been set for the 24th, with City Clerk, Sue Child, telling us there's arguments to be made for both sides of the matter. The council, Monday night, also set a public hearing date of the 24th, for comments on the Huron Avenue and Military Street streetscape projects. The council also approved putting a question onto the ballot, for November, for renewal of the 2-mill 10-year street millage.
