The Lady Skippers are now (31-1) after opening the NJCAA Division II Tournament with a 71-62 win over Elgin Community College in Illinois on Wednesday.  Sheyna Deans led the way with 16 points, while Teisha Knott added 11 and 10 rebounds.  Cianna Peterson chipped in 10 points, while St. Clair's Rachel Kehoe had 8 and Algonac's Heidi Highstreet had 6 points and 8 rebounds.  SC4 will play in the Elite 8 on Thursday night (9PM) against South Suburban.
