Alex Avila drove in three runs as the Detroit Tigers beat the Houston Astros 8-5 on Monday in pre-season action in Florida.  Rick Porcello started for Detroit and pitched four scoreless innings, allowing just three hits, no walks, and striking out six.  Tuesday is a rare day off for the Tigers.
