The girl's high school basketball playoffs resume next Tuesday as regionals begin. Four area teams won district titles on Friday night and will see action next week. In Class B at Imlay City, local rivals Marysville and Cros-Lex will play each other in one half of the bracket on Tuesday, with the winner advancing the regional final on Thursday to play either Freeland or Flint Powers. In Class D action at Lansing Christian, Marine City Cardinal Mooney will face long time rival Waterford Our Lady in one game, while host Lansing Christian faces Clarkston-Everest. Also in Class D at Bay City All Saints, the hosts will take on Deckerville, with the other game between AuGres-Sims and Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart. The boy's playoffs will begin on Monday with the opening games of districts, there will be a total on nine games that night involving area teams, including a game between Port Huron High and Port Huron Northern at Lanse Creuse North.
