HIGH SPEED CHASE ENDS WITH ARRESTS

Port Huron Police say three Port Huron residents are in custody after a lengthy police chase Wednesday afternoon into several bordering communities. The incident began at 3:34 p.m. in the area of Electric and 10th Street, with a Port Huron Police Officer attempting to stop a vehicle as one of the occupants was wanted on 3 outstanding felony warrants.  The vehicle fled southbound on Electric into Marysville, then St. Clair and Marine City. The vehicle then changed direction in Marine City and began traveling northbound back towards Port Huron. The vehicle lost control at the intersection of Military and Reid, and the three occupants were taken into custody, including the wanted subject.  There were no injuries in the incident.  Charges will be determined once the investigation is completed.
