The Port Huron Police Department has in custody 2 suspects in connection with a stolen auto that crashed into an ambulance Thursday as the suspects fled. The incident took place as a 20-year old Detroit resident and a 15-year old from Detroit entered a vehicle left running along the 13-hundred block of 8th Street. The two drove the vehicle onto White Street and then into the path of an ambulance traveling south on 10th Street. The crash caused extensive damage to both vehicles. The pair fled but were soon apprehended.
