ICE, RAIN, SNOW, SLEET, THUNDER...WE HAVE IT ALL

Most school districts in the area shut down today thanks to overnight and early morning snow, sleet, and freezing rain. The weather left side roads especially bad and caused a number of minor traffic accidents.  The Port Huron Area School District was joined by Marysville, East China, Algonac, Capac, Yale, and Cros-Lex in canceling classes.  The National Weather Service ended all of the advisories for the area early this morning as temperatures began to warm up.  They will be near record setting tomorrow as highs are expected to get up to 55-degrees before settling back to more normal and near freezing levels by the end of the week.  In transition Wednesday sees the possibility of rain, snow, and even thunder all in one day.
