St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office dog Fist and handler Deputy Mike Pink had a productive and busy year in 2012. Fist responded to a total of 308 calls for service last year. He was responsible for the confiscation of more than 30 pounds of marijuana, half a kilo of cocaine and smaller quantities of methamphetamine and heroin. Deputy Pink and Fist are certified members of the Border Enforcement Security Team. They also assisted nearly every police department in St. Clair County in a narcotics capacity, along with conducting school sweeps for drugs in St. Clair, Oakland, and Macomb Counties.
