Last year proved to be a successful one for the St. Clair County Board of Commissioners, in terms of adopting a balanced budget and getting projects off the ground and up and running. County Chair Jeff Bohm tells us their first session of the New Year on Thursday is largely an organizational meeting. Bohm says the New Year will bring some good changes to the county, like further economic development with the Blue Water Area Convention Center and some other new projects aimed at lifting the area out of the economic doldrums that have been a plague since the Recession of 2008. The board will gather at 6pm Thursday at the county administration building along Grand River.
