Gas prices are up this week as we travel through the new year.  AAA-Michigan says the state average price for gasoline is up 8 cents from last week which raises the average to $3.33 per gallon.  According to the Auto Club, motorists could likely see pump prices keep increasing into mid-January before starting to drop.  AAA-Michigan says one thing that would be a factor on gas prices is the economy.  Meanwhile, the Blue Water Area drivers are saw about $3.33 a gallon for unleaded self serve gasoline on the last day of 2012.
