YEAR END GOVERNMENTAL MEETINGS A PLENTY THIS WEEK
Governmental meetings set for this week include a pair of local area city council and a pair of City Commission meetings. The City Council sessions are in Marysville and St. Clair. The 7:30 p.m. Marysville session will see expected bid approval for the engineering services needed in the River Road reconstruction project. St. Clair tonight meets at 7:00 p.m. and will include special event permit approvals for a variety of upcoming items. A closed session is also planned for pending litigation. In Port Huron meanwhile a Zoning Board Of Appeal meeting is set for a half dozen action items involving setback areas and other variance requests. Tomorrow a Port Huron Planning Commission meeting is scheduled where board members will consider a request from Acheson Ventures for the construction of a heated boat storage building in the area of Water, Third, Wall, and Fourth streets. Both of those meetings get underway at 7:00 p.m.
