No 4 Michigan knocked off Kansas State on Friday at Madison Square Garden 71-57.  Tim Hardaway Jr. led the Wolverines witrh 23 points,  Michigan is (5-0).

No. 15 Michigan State beat Oakland 72-50.  Keith Appling had 20 and Adreian Payne added 15 for the Spartans, who improved to (4-1).
