Bridesmaid dresses are a big decision when planning your wedding. They enhance the theme, they go with the colors of your wedding and not to mention they will be in your wedding pictures forever. Here are some tips to keep in mind when planning your big day.- Don’t put your friends in dresses that are ugly just to make yourself look better. Also try not to choose dresses that are unflattering to them.
- Spend time thinking about what shape dresses will compliment your wedding dress. Find a style that gives the same feel as your wedding dress but doesn’t look to similar.
- Look for a style that looks flattering on all bridesmaids. A-line and Empire waists usually look good on all body types.
- You can also consider choosing a color or fabric and letting each bridesmaid pick out their own dress. That way it will be flattering to them and they will be buying a dress that they like.
- When picking a color think of what would look good on all of your friends.
- Don’t make your bridesmaids buy a dress they think is absolutely hideous. Try and find something they could use after the weddings over.
- Take your friends dress shopping with you although if you have more than four split them up into different days so it’s easier to hold your opinion.
- Make a list of different dress styles and colors that you think would look good on that person.
- Picking dark colored dresses look good on almost everyone and can be re-worn to other formal events
- Ask your bridesmaids if they will be comfortable wearing the dress.
- Try not to control everything and allow your maid of honor or other trusted bridesmaids to help you.
