Giants Blank Tigers 2-0



Three pitchers combined to throw a two hit shutout in game two of the World Series as the San Francisco Giants beat the Detroit Tigers on Thursday night 2-0.  The Giants lead the best of seven series 2-0.  Doug Fister of Detroit and Madison Bumgarner of the Giants went pitch for pitch for six scoreless innings, but the Giants broke through for single runs in the seven and eighth innings.  The first run scored on a double play ground out with the bases loaded, the second run scored on a sac-fly.  Game three of the series is Saturday night at Comerica Park in Detroit.  Anibal Sanchez starts for the Tigers against San Francisco's Ricky Vogelsong.
