METH LAB BUST NETS THREE ARRESTS

Three St. Clair County residents were taken into custody this week by the St. Clair County Drug Task Force.  Search warrants served early Wednesday along the 27-hundred block of Robbins Court in Port Huron Township saw officers locating a clandestine methamphetamine lab in the basement of the home.  A 40-year-old Port Huron Township man, a 51-year-old Smiths Creek man and a 35-year-old Port Huron woman were arrested and the lab was removed from the home with deputies wearing HazMat suits and respirators.  Officials also seized the items used in the meth lab, as well as about $800 worth of meth and $114-dollars in cash.  The suspects were lodged at the St. Clair County Intervention Center.
