Detroit Tigers' hitters managed just four hits, two of which came in the second inning, as the Oakland A's stayed alive with a 2-0 win on Tuesday night in game three of a best-of-five series.  Detroit leads the series 2-1, heading into game four on Wednesday night in Oakland.  Seth Smith hit a home run for the A's.
