The Detroit Tigers lost in Kansas City 4-2 on Tuesday night.  Miguel Cabrera, who played the first five innings of the game before coming out to be rested for the playoffs, had two hits and drove in both runs for the Tigers.  Detroit closes out the regular season in KC on Wednesday night and will open the playoffs at home Saturday against an opponent that is yet to be determined.
