The Texas Rangers took three of four from the Detroit Tigers over the weekend, winning an 11-8 slugfest on Sunday night in Arlington. The Rangers pounded out 18 hits against five Detroit pitchers. The Detroit Red Wings played a near perfect game on Saturday in Chicago and upset the Blackhawks 4-1 to even their second round best-of-seven playoff series at 1-1. Henrik Zetterberg had two assists as Damien Brunner, Brandon Smith, Johan Franzen, and Valtteri Filppula scored goals. Jimmy Howard made 19 saves. Game three in the series is in Detroit on Monday night.
