The Texas Rangers took three of four from the Detroit Tigers over the weekend, winning an 11-8 slugfest on Sunday night in Arlington. The Rangers pounded out 18 hits against five Detroit pitchers. The Detroit Red Wings played a near perfect game on Saturday in Chicago and upset the Blackhawks 4-1 to even their second round best-of-seven playoff series at 1-1. Henrik Zetterberg had two assists as Damien Brunner, Brandon Smith, Johan Franzen, and Valtteri Filppula scored goals. Jimmy Howard made 19 saves.
