Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce has snipped over a dozen ribbons as they welcomed another new establishment in downtown Port Huron Wednesday. In this case it is a new restaurant, Trio, to a Quay Street location. Chamber President Vickie Ledsworth says the downtown district is becoming quite a Mecca for food and beverage establishments. She hopes to highlight that fact in the Chamber’s next business guide. Trio's name is inspired by the development of three separate restaurants that'll eventually be under one roof in the space at 400 Quay. Owner David Griffor previously owned and operated the former Bistro 1882 that was near the Thomas Edison Inn, and says the bottom floor is a Tex-Mex eatery, with a new Bistro next door and a sports bar to open next month upstairs.
