MAN ARRAIGNED ON FELONIOUS ASSAULT, OTHER CHARGES

A 26-year old Port Huron Township man is now lodged at the St. Clair County Jail following an incident at the Port of Call Mobile Home Park on Dove Road in Port Huron Township Tuesday.  According to St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon, Jamall Stafford had an argument with his girlfriend, then threatened her with a gun shortly before 11:00 a.m.  The 32-year old woman was able to get out of the residence and call the Sheriff’s Office.  During that time, Stafford left the residence with two of the woman’s children, went to a neighbor’s house, walked in and threatened the homeowner with the gun.  Stafford then asked for a ride down by the St. Clair River from the neighbor, who complied.  The neighbor says he dropped Stafford and the two children off and immediately called 911.  Stafford was arrested without incident at North Blvd. and Electric Avenue.
