One campaign sign you may have seen of late is for Jeff Stout for the Port Huron Area School District Board of Education. The current president of the board, Stout is running for re-election as one of two unopposed candidates. Despite the lack of opposition he says it's not enough to assume support just because no one is running against you. Stout says he has about 100 signs out around the area. He believes if one is going to run for a position then the candidate should run to win, regardless of known or unknown opposition. The general election will be held Tuesday November 6th.
