A sad passing to note this week as a longtime member of the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office has died.  59-year old Michael Green passed away on  Sunday.  He was a lifelong resident of Port Huron and a Lieutenant with the Sheriff's Office, serving 23 years.  He also served as past president of the Police Officer's Association of Michigan and Command Officer's Association of Michigan.  He's survived by his wife and two sons.  A memorial service will be held Saturday the 8th at 2 p.m. at the First Congregational Church with visitation starting at 1p.m.
