It combines the joy of sailing with the important task of raising money to cure cancer. That's the 17th annual Leukemia Cup Regatta this weekend as hosted by the Port Huron Yacht Club. Race Chairman Scott Jones says since 1995 the event has raised over one million dollars in the fight against cancer, lymphoma and Hodgkin's Disease. Today sees the Friendship Race starting about 11:00 am and Sunday the event continues about noon. The races will be followed by the ever-popular steak dinner, the presentation of awards and other events. For more information go to phyc.org.
