EICK ASKS FOR RECOUNT

It ain't over  yet... that's the fight for State Representative for the 83rd District as candidate Bob Eick has asked the State Board of Canvassars for a recount.  The former Port Huron Fire Chief ran against incumbent Paul Muxlow in the primary election held earlier this month, and he says with just 132 votes as the difference, he's asking the votes be counted again.  Eick says he's asking the recount be done for all 49 districts between St. Clair and Sanilac Counties.  State officials have told Eick results of a recount should be available in a couple of weeks.  Meanwhile, Representative Paul Muxlow, once notified by state officials, will have a week to file an objection to the recount.
