The Cleveland Browns didn't take their first lead of the game until a 45 yard field goal with 28 second remaining, as they edged the Detroit Lions 19-17 on Friday night in the pre-season opener at Ford Field. Detroit lead 7-0 after a Keiland Williams 5 yard TD run, and then took a 14-3 lead before half time on a 3 yard pass from Shaun Hill to Stephan Logan. Jason Hanson added a field goal to give the Lions a 17-10 lead in the second half, but the Browns scored the last nine points of the fourth quarter to win. Detroit plays at Baltimore next Friday.
