POWERBOATS ROUND TWO

They'll be roaring on the St. Clair River this weekend as offshore powerboat racing returns to the City of Port Huron.  It's going to be a wild weekend of water fun as Port Huron and Sarnia partner for the International Offshore Powerboat Race, with LeeAnn Peart from the Downtown Port Huron office telling us the event will also feature lots of live music and other entertainment. Blue Water Fest favorite Ty Stone is due to perform Friday night with lots of local musical groups as well. The action continues on Saturday with the Time Trials and Sunday sees the Race taking over the St. Clair River.  Also, on Thursday before the Rockin' The Rivers concert there'll be a parade up to 20 of the powerboats heading down the downtown streets in a mini parade of sorts.  And the kids are invited to come down to Desmond Landing Saturday at 8pm for a free meet and greet session with the racers.
