Several sources report the Detroit Tigers and Miami Marlins have agreed on a deal that would send Tiger prospects Jacob Turner, Rob Brantly, and Brian Flynn to Miami for infielder Omar Infante and pitcher Anibal Sanchez. Infante, who was an all-star last year in Atlanta, would be returning to Detroit, were he started his big league career. He his hitting .287 this season with 8 home runs and 33 RBI and plays second base. Sanchez, a right hander, has been around a 500 pitcher during his seven big league seasons, all with the Marlins. He is 44-45 all time, including 5-7 this season with an ERA under four runs a game. In 2006 Sanchez threw a no-hitter against the Arizona Diamondbacks. As part of the deal the teams will also flop first round positions in next years amateur draft.
