The 88th Bell's Beer Bayview Mackinac sailing race got off without a hitch on Saturday.  All 14 starts fro the 19 classes in the event set sail on schedule, despite some periods of light air.  Around 220 yachts are not on their way to Mackinac Island.  Depending on weather condition, the first boats may reach the Island as early as Sunday, but expect the bulk of the fleet to complete the race during Monday and early Tuesday.
