Could the worst finally be behind us in terms of the economy and unemployment?  The jury's still out on a definitive answer, but the Economic Development Alliance of St. Clair County says they're starting to see some good signs.  The EDA's Dan Casey says with several irons in the fire for St. Clair County, such as the Thomas Edison Inn project and the new I-69 International Trade Corridor agreement, things are beginning to look up for the local area.  Casey says the manufacturing sector is seeing a turnaround, with manufacturers and businesses reporting strong sales and increased demands, as well as a rise in site location inquiries, and renewed interest on projects that have been on-hold for the past several years.
