Port Huron fire fighters were called to a house fire in the 2300 block of Moak Street Friday just after noon.  The fire, which is believed to have begun in the kitchen, was extinguished quickly.  A passerby rescued one of the dogs from the house, but the other died.  No other injuries were reported.  Marysville and Port Huron Township assisted in extinguishing the blaze.
