Max Scherzer struck out 12 in eight shut out innings of work and Quintin Berry had five hits to pace the Detroit Tigers to a 5-0 win on Sunday over the Colorado Rockies.  The Tigers out hit the Rockies 15-7 in the game.  Ramon Santiago (two hits) drove in two runs, while Gerald Laird (three hits), Prince Fielder, and Miguel Cabrera also drove in runs.  The Tigers have Monday off before beginning a three game series with the defending World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday at Comerica Park.
