A sad passing to note this week with the death of Richard Worden.  He died Saturday at the age of 71 after battling cancer.  Worden was a co-owner of the Worden Insurance Agency in Port Huron where he worked for 44-years. He was also a teacher in the Port Huron Area School District for over 30 years, serving as a basketball coach for Port Huron High School and a gym teacher for several of the elementary schools.  Visitation is today at the Smith Family Funeral Home Funeral Home North along Hancock.  A service will be held at 11am Thursday at Colonial Woods Missionary Church.
