The Detroit Tigers offense failed again leaving ten men on base in a 2-1 loss to the Cleveland Indians on Thursday afternoon.  Justin Verlander held the tribe to two runs on six hits in eight innings, while striking out seven.  The lone Detroit run scored on a ground out.  The Tigers have lost three in a row and play in Minnesota on Friday night.
