A 91 year old yacht named Bernida will race the 88th Bayview Port Huron to Mackinac Race in July.  Bernida won the first ever race back in 1925 and repeated as the champion in the third race in 1927.  The boat was found in 2004 and has been restored to racing condition and will be sailed in this year event by a six man crew.  Bernida is a wood boat and will be one of the smaller yachts in the fleet.
