Sports Director Dennis Stuckey was born in Warren and has been working in radio since 1992 after graduating from the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts. After stints in Caro and Saginaw, Stuckey first came to Port Huron in 1995 to work for WSAQ and WHLS. A year later he became the radio voice of the Port Huron Border Cats, a position he held for three seasons, before leaving Port Huron in the fall of 1999 to work for the Louisville Panthers of the American Hockey League. In 2000 Dennis moved to Lake Charles, LA to work in the Western Professional Hockey League for a season before returning to Port Huron to work for RadioFirst and broadcast Port Huron Beacons, then Icehawks games on WHLS. Stuckey returns to the broadcast booth this season to call the play-by-play for the Port Huron Fighting Falcons in the NAHL. Dennis has been involved in many community activities including 12 of the 13 “Community Roof Sits” to help raise funds for the St. Clair County Child Abuse and Neglect Council. In June of 2007 the 39 year old married his wife Katie, a native of Richmond, and bought a home in Port Huron.
