Lexington VFW Sunday Breakfast - Lexington 1st Sunday of every month - 8am to 1pm The Lexington VFW post 2382 is hosting a Sunday breakfast to raise money to help out local vet's and other community efforts. It's an all you can eat buffet style, serving scrambled eggs, pancakes w/fruit toppings of your choice, ham, sausage, coffee, milk, orange juice, sweet rolls and toast. Cost is $7 for adults, $3 for kids 5-12, and kids 4 and under are free.
History's Naughty Misses - Ferndale Continues through Wednesday, March 31st
Port Huron artist Jody Parmann will continue displaying her latest gallery show, History’s Naughty Misses at Woodward Avenue Brewers in Ferndale. The show will feature the colorful tales of women throughout history who have taken a more questionable moral path: courtesans, gypsies, concubines, geisha, doxies, streetwalkers and performers of the Moulin Rouge. Boy Scouts: 100 Years And Counting - Port Huron Museum Continues through Sunday, April 25th
Explore the history of the Boy Scouts on a nationwide and a local level with the exhibit at the Port Huron Museum. Pictures, equipment, uniforms, personal recollections, and patches are just some of the unique historical artifacts that will be on display. While you're there, don't miss the interactive exhibits including an arcade style shooting gallery, animal tracks identification, and a pinewood derby track. Other special events will be happening throughout the exhibit's display like a "Log Cabin Adventure", "Building A Klondike Sled", and even a chance for current scouts and families to stay overnight at the Museum on March 5th. Check out the remaining showings of a 13 week presentation of the Australian television drama series Sea Patrol. Each hour long episode follows Captain Mike Flynn and his crew of 24 sailors aboard a fictional patrol boat of the Royal Australian Navy. University of Detroit Mercy School of Law’s Project SALUTE is traveling across Michigan in a mobile law office, a recreational vehicle custom designed, built, and generously donated by General Motors Corporation, providing FREE legal advice to low-income veterans on their federal veterans’ disability and pension benefits claims. Project SALUTE will host a veterans’ legal clinic in Roseville on March 16, at the Vietnam Veterans of America at 16945 12 Mile Rd. This clinic is made possible by a grant from the State of Michigan.

SC4 Free College Day Saturday, April 10th
It's time again for the annual Saint Clair County Community College Free College Day. More than 100 classes will be available this year in a variety of subjects, including arts & crafts, business, computers, recreation, and more. Presenters include SC4 professors and staff as well as local residents who will volunteer their time to share their expertise with the community.
The day also includes a lunch break as well as drop-in activities that "students" can visit. Registration will begin on Sunday, March 14 at www.sc4.edu/freecollege. The class schedule will be able to be found online at that time, as well as in the Times Herald on Sunday, and in local libraries.
