The New York Yankees belted out 18 hits and beat the Detroit Tigers 12-8 on Wednesday night to end the Tigers win streak at six and their home win streak at ten games. Former Tiger Curtis Granderson had a single, double, and home run, and drove in four runs for the Yankees. In his Detroit debut Jeff Baker had two hits and drove in two runs. Brennan Boesch also had two hits and two RBI in the game. The final game of a four game series is set for Thursday afternoon at Comerica Park.
