YEAR-END WORK TOPS LOCAL AGENDAS

A handful of public meetings set for early this week as groups wrap up work for 2012.  Saint Clair and Marysville City Councils hold regular meetings Monday evening.  For Marysville a vote on dissolving the fire department merger with Port Huron is expected.  St. Clair councilmembers have before them a new contract to ratify for employees represented by the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees.  Also the Port Huron Area School District Board of Education holds their last meeting of the year.  The board has a number of improvement contracts before them.  In addition to their 7 p.m. session a workshop is scheduled in a special meeting. Tuesday morning a Port Huron Downtown Development Authority meeting is scheduled which includes a grant discussion on Studio 1219 building repairs.
