Wings Fall On Road
The Chicago Blackhawks edged the Detroit Red Wings 2-1 on Tuesday night in Chicago. Val Filppula scored the lone goal for the Wings on a power play early in the first period. Earlier in the day the Wings acquired defenseman Kyle Quincey in a three team trade with Colorado and Tampa Bay. Detroit gave up a 2012 first round pick and minor league player Sebastien Piche. Detroit retunrs home on Thursday to take on Vancouver.
